That would be Earthbound 2, 'cause Ness was the main char in Earthbound 1.

u sure, at's on the gameboy advance, u go aginst the pigmask army and still, it says mother 3 on the file, the walkthrough im using for the game says mother 3 too?

Earthbound 1 is the english Version of Mother 2, and I believe Mother 1 was not released in the US, but I am not sure about the second part. So yeah, I think Mother 3 is Earthbound 2, since Lucas is in Brawl.

A lot of games have boring parts. the plan is that the suspense for the next part propels you through it.

I might. But I don't know. Phantom Hourglass was a letdown. This might not be any better. I might rent it, though. just to try it out.
